In nature, Bucephalandra usually grows on rocks or wood in rivers and streams - much like Anubias, which they resemble regarding use and care in the aquarium.
Bucephalandra 'Wavy Green' is an easy, slow-growing plant that prefers lower light levels. A beautiful, dense appearance is ensured by the willingness to branch, even without trimming.
The green leaves are 1/2 inch wide and 3/4 inch long with wavy edges.
Like Anubias, you do not cover any of the rhizomes when planting.
You are buying a rooted plant with five or more leaves. Approx. 1" to 1.5".
Green wavy can be treated like most anubias and tied or glued to driftwood or rocks. If you would like to plant in your substrate plant, only the roots, Not the plant, or rhizome itself in your substrate. Planting this plant too deep can cause it to melt.
