Planting Instructions

Stem plants are usually cuttings of plants that generally don't come with roots. This is how stem plants are sold in the aquatic plant industry, although many times my stem plants may come with roots because I have been growing them out. All stem plants come with a plant weight that holds the plant in place and is safe for your tank.

To plant just let the weight lay on your substrate, and the stems will grow roots throughout your substrate. You can also plant the tips, about 1/4" in your substrate if you prefer.

Please go here for more information on planting.

I ordered several bunches of these plants and they arrived very healthy and exactly as described. They make a great filler plant for that empty middlewater

I ordered one bunch of Cardamine as part of a larger purchase, and received about six stems in the bundle. The plants were in great shape, well-packed, and delivered on time. After some initial severe "melting" the Cardamine came roaring back and now form a pretty section of my tank. In fact, they're invading the patch of another group of plants: I'll probably have to trim them back. I'd happily buy from PAC again.

I have admired this plant for years, yet never purchased it. I took the plunge on my newest tank as I thought it would have the right look for a meadow's edge. I was happy to receive a healthy bunch (already with some roots) two bunches really as an extra was included which is far more than I need...oh well I suppose I'll just set up another tank. The plants are rooting rapidly and growing. They did come with a passenger snail who is currently happily hoovering in a jarrarium.
